No Shame Here

I've been waiting...
Season Premiere January 13 on Showtime

Last year I stumbled upon the show Shameless which airs on Showtime.  I HAD to add Showtime to our cable so that I could catch up with this show and then watch all the current episodes.  It's a bit crude, but I love it!

I'll be glad when all my shows are back on in January -- I'm sick of all the December reruns!

What shows are you waiting for?

A Few Of My Favorite Things...

Now that we have opened all our gifts and the holidays are over, I wanted to share a few of my favorite gifts with you!

Clinique's Brush of Color Eyeshadow Palette

This was a special treat for me!  In my college years I often bought Clinique and Estee Lauder make up.  Since marrying, having kids and paying for my own beauty products, I tend to purchase my make up at Walmart.  This set is perfect for those looking for a little help with application.  Each set of colors has a number next to it to be used with the applicators accompanying the set which also are numbered and all the number correspond to the part of the eye on the mirror.  It's great to try some different colors since I'm usually a browns type girl.

Snowman tote from Thirty-One gifts

How cute is this?  I will be using this all winter long to haul kid stuff, groceries, workout gear -- you name it.  It is such a fun pattern.

Women's UA ColdGear® Printed Fitted Longsleeve
Under Armour Base Layer

This top will come in handy for cold winter walks.

And finally

Scattergories
Scattergories

I loved this game as a kid and was excited to see it under our tree on Christmas morning.  This should be a fun family game that we'll be able to play for years to come.

What was your favorite Christmas presents?
Anything you're planning on re-gifting next year?  :)

A New Blog ~ A New Puppy!

Welcome to my blog!

After several years of blog stalking, I have decided to start my own blog with the goal to blog 3 times a week for at least one year.  It will be fun to go back and review our year.  I'm curious to see if I enjoy it and will continue past the year mark.

Along with having a new blog, our family has become a unit of five with the addition of a puppy to our family.  She is a yellow Labrador.  We picked her up when she was seven weeks old and so far she has been fun!

Our sweet new Pup!

Our first couple of nights with her was like having a new baby.  She cried and yipped.  Mr. Mind was up with her three different times.  Yesterday morning we woke up at 5:00 and realised that she hadn't been up at all during the night.  After several nights of very little sleep, it was nice to get a full 8 hours!  She is only about 10 pounds right now and will probably grow to about 50 pounds.  It will be fun to watch her grow and document her training progress.
